6 Steps to Mastering Mixing - Beginner

This course covers all the foundational skills you need to master in order to become an effective DJ. You will learn the ins and outs of a standard DJ controller (Pioneer DDJ-400 or DDJ-FLX4), how to use all the tools this equipment offers, and various terms and jargon to help you understand different mixing techniques and music theory. We also introduce you to our patented Order of Operations–a simple pneumonic device to help you remember the same 6-steps you can follow every time you need to transition from one track to the next. We also touch on a few easy techniques such as filters and looping that will help you create smooth transitions under any circumstances.
